Late Graduation

 “Can we kill the conversation, and maybe move right along to the nitty-gritty details?” asked the next ‘big man’ to appear on the scene. But the fine print had already been written on the wall and the eyes and ears were on high-alert for any new break in the case. The Journalist/Manager stood up to the podium and delivered a really soaring graduation speech to the local Harvard-affiliated & Duke-affiliated university. The press, the reporters, the paparazzi, the choppers, with “roving eyes” in the noonday sun, the smartphones snapping selfies and sharing on the net. It’s quite outstanding. And the newly-graduated students thought deeply about the Professah’s words as they wandered out into the Jozi night air and celebrated the dawn of their new life. Car-hooters tooted and celebratory songs were played on the amps and speakers. Jimmy Choos, Christian Le Boutins & Prada’s clicked brightly on all the spotlight stages. Armani suits, Carmella’s & Salvatore Ferragamo suits for the guys to shine in. It was a wonderful sight. Stretched limousines ferried the young revellers onto all the after-party destinations. 2025!!! Yeah!!!
